All aboard!

As I slowly return to the land of the blogger after very little activity for the last 2 and a half years I thought I should lay down some blog markers for my subscribers and casual visitors.

Your host is Australian by birth and British by ancestry. I became an Atheist at a young age, and a Zoologist, Archaeologist, Publisher, Farmer and Writer at various older ages. My interests are wide-ranging (as I hope this blog has demonstrated). My books are listed on a page on this blog, my other publications are listed on researchgate. Poetry which has been a major feature of this blog I am hoping will soon become a book.

Future blogging in the near term may concentrate on atheism. I have noticed the youtube atheists I listen to that their knowledge of biology, history and geography is very limited. For example a recent exchange I heard claiming that the \”Tower of Babel\” was real had replies that didn\’t mention the hundreds of Australian Aboriginal languages (see my Map) evolved over some 50,000 years, nor the dozens of African and Asian languages developed over even longer periods. Discussions of the supposed special unique features of Homo sapiens (eg \”consciousness\”) rarely make any significant use of the features of the thousands of current animal species or their ancestors.

So we shall see what we shall see. And I would be grateful if my current subscribers could publicise the reinvigorated  blog to others, and buy, and promote, my three most recent books (all still available).
