Give me a child until the age of seven, or an adult film star

I find it a comfort to realise that no normal adult human being with an IQ above, say, 85, would ever become religious from scratch, wake up one day and think, oh yes, today I will start believing in an imaginary being. No, religions only survive because children from the ages of 0-7 have religious beliefs of one kind or another hammered into them so strongly that they become one of the bodily functions regulated by the autonomic nervous system. Religions only thrive by regulating the sexual activities of their followers so as to increase population on a world badly needing to decrease population.

I find it a comfort ….. until I remember Scientology and film stars. Then I despair.
