Ever since civilisation began the purpose of law in society is to allow 1% of a population to get 75% of the wealth. The purpose of politics is to allow them to keep it. The purpose of the media is to prevent the 99% from knowing this.
Marking time
When big old Redwood trees are cut down or fall, a cross-section can be drawn relating the rings to historical events. Seems to me you could do a cross-section of a human brain and mark it similarly for events in their life.
