broken bars

Bend of history

When I was younger I thought that the 20th century would see the end of Fascism and the beginning of the end of Religion. That Science would result in an informed populace in relation to Evolution and Cosmology and Ecology. That Medical Science, through vaccination, would see the end of many common diseases, and the curing of many cancers. That people would begin conserving the environment of the only planet we\’ve got. That ecomomies would be based on making wealth inequality a thing of the past. That politicians world-wide would incline to the Left, leaving just a few of the Libertarian strand. That computers, and the associated communications network, would lead to factual knowlege shared troughout the world.

But I was wrong.
