New age

In every age, since history began, the citizens of countries are mostly unable to imagine society, culture, economy, being any different in the future from what they are in the present. Any lone voices suggesting there may be other ways of doing things will be ignored with cries of \”history has ended\” here, in the best of all possible worlds. And then a new age gradually begins, and they are dragged into it bemoaning the fact that things were better in the old days.
