Need a control

Look, I think it is terrific that business leaders and right -wing politicians have got interested in science and have decided to conduct an experiment to see what happens when you pour more and more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere of Planet Earth. I mean it is a very interesting question, and the results so far have been amazing – who knew that many different kinds of extreme weather events could result from adding just one ingredient to the air?

So, all good, but if I could make a teeny-weeny suggestion, hardly worth mentioning really – next time could you do your experiment on a planet that doesn\’t have 8 billion people and trillions of animals living on it?
