Corporations and right wing politicians noisily demand an end to all regulation until some disaster caused by lack of regulation in some aspect of daily life kills, unpleasantly, many people, then they go quiet for a day or two before again noisily demanding the end of all regulation. Gun makers and the NRA use the same approach in relation to each new mass shooting in America.
