To earn the title of Homo sapiens we would have to live on a planet whose history didn\’t consist of wars and rumours of war, and planning for war, and not planning for the aftermath of war, and glorifying the heroism of war, and finding reasons to go to war, and justifying war, and having a few people (who don\’t take part in war) making a lot of money out of war.
Perhaps there is a sapient species on another planet. Perhaps not.
