The problem with renting DVDs from a mail order company is that they all come with damage. The damage – scratches, dirt, scrapes, bangs, magnetic – is often deliberate. It causes the film to \”skip\” so that you miss several minutes of the story, rejoining it at a later spot, trying to work out where you are.
Been some time since I did any writing. Have skipped years of my life story.
