A diplomat is a politician sent out to lie for his country, a politician is a man sent out to lie for his party. The only qualification a politician needs is to be able to tell lies with a straight face. By happy coincidence, the only qualifications a right wing tv shock jock needs is to repeat those lies with a straight face and invent nonsense to justify the lies.
